GARNET ROGERS'S WEB SITE

There are two images of Garnet Rogers that are burned into my mind. The first is of him during a performance, standing momentarily on one leg, eyes closed, completely immersed in his music while his long hair flew and tangled in the strings of his violin. The second is after the performance, his six and a half feet hunkered down before my two young children. Those children now have children of their own, but his simple and natural friendliness, as it pierced their star-struck awe, still remains fresh in my mind.

That love of humanity infuses Garnet's music. His rich baritone and luxuriant, clear guitar work are a joy to listen to. Between the music you can count on his quirky humor and stories to keep you laughing. Garnet is clearly a master at his craft.
