2 Sticks Margerine 3/4 C Cocoa 2 C Sugar 4 eggs 1 t Vanilla 2 1/2 C Flour 2 t Baking Powder 1/2 t Salt 7 oz Sweetened Coconut 6 oz Whole Almonds |
Melt the margerine and whisk in the cocoa until smooth When the chocolate mixture is cooled, beat in the eggs two at a time Beat in the sugar and vanilla Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt, then add the coconut and almonds Beat together until evenly mixed. Bake at at 350° for 7 minutes, exchange top and bottom trays, then bake for another 7 minutes |
